Prime Minister to meet the family of martyred Abrar Fahad, who opposed Indian hegemony

The meeting is set for 5pm at the Cabinet Division in the Secretariat, where government support for the trial will be discussed.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will meet the family of Abrar Fahad, the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student and critic of Indian hegemony who was killed after being tortured by Chhatra League activists. The meeting is scheduled for 5pm on Thursday (8 October) at the Cabinet Division in the Secretariat.

Rakibul Islam Rakib, president of the Chhatra Dal central committee, shared the information. He said the Prime Minister will hear the family out and discuss how far the government can support the trial process.
